DR. ARIEL LEUNG

Dr. Ariel Leung

MD: St. Bonaventure University, New York

Dr. Ariel Leung is excited to return to her hometown of Phoenix and join Arizona Allergy Associates! Born and raised in the Valley of the Sun, she’s no stranger to triple-digit summers and is grateful for the opportunity to care for the community that first inspired her journey into medicine.

Her training has taken her across the country. She began in upstate New York at St. Bonaventure University, graduating summa cum laude while playing collegiate volleyball. She then earned her medical degree at George Washington University, before swapping cherry blossoms for California palm trees to complete her internal medicine residency at St. Agnes Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident.

Dr. Leung went on to complete her Allergy & Immunology fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience managing allergic and immunologic conditions in both pediatric and adult populations. During her time in the Midwest, she also developed a deep appreciation for Kansas City BBQ and became a fan of both the KC Current and the Chiefs—though she’s happy to root for the hometown teams too.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Leung is an aspiring home chef (ask her about her Gordon Ramsay-approved Beef Wellington) - a big driving force for her belief that food should be enjoyed and not feared, and her passion for food allergy advocacy. She also enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and their two dogs named after Game of Thrones characters (Khaleesi & Arya)!

Dr. Leung is excited to help patients across the Valley breathe easier, live better, and enjoy life with fewer allergic interruptions.
