He is a calming influence.  He takes the time to learn about his patient's private live as well as their medical histories.  It is amazing how he can remember something that was told to him months ago by one of his patients and elicits updates.  Patients feel comfortable and unrushed when in the presence of Dr. Hellmers.   He has a special interest in Immunodeficiency.

He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL, completed his internship at  Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, his residency at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and did his Allergy/Immunology Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.  He is also board certified in Pediatrics.  He has been practicing in the Valley since 1989.  He enjoys mountain and road biking, playing the drums and spending time with his wife and two children.  Dr. Wong has a special interest in Immunodeficiency disorders.

He received his M.D. from the Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois.  He then completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, and returned to Chicago to complete a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Children’s Memorial Hospital/Northwestern University. He enjoys playing basketball, fishing, gaming, playing music, travelling and spending time with his family.  As he was born and raised in Los Angeles, He also is an avid L.A. sports fan.  He is proud to have had the privilege to witness multiple Lakers and Dodgers championships over the years (sorry Suns fans!).

After graduating from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine she went on to complete her residency (Pediatrics) and fellowship (Allergy and Immunology) also at the University of Manitoba in Canada.  She was Chief Resident in her Pediatrics Program.  Dr. Keahey has been practicing in the Phoenix Metro Area since 2002.  She is a fervent Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals fan.  She enjoys traveling and spending time with her two small children.  Her special interests include food allergy, asthma and allergic rhinitis.

Dr. Rishi completed her Pediatric Residency at LaBonheur Children's Medical Hospital, and she went on to pursue sub-specialty training in Allergy & Immunology at the University of Tennessee.  She also completed both Pediatric and Immunology training at St. Jude's Children Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI).  She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Allergy & Immunology.  She is a published author, and she is in her national, state, regional and local allergy societies.

Dr. Rishi specializes in the treatment of allergic & immunological diseases of adults and children including asthma, allergy, drug allergy, food allergy, immunological disorders, eczema, Eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease, and venom allergy.  She performs allergy testing for foods and environmental allergens, patch testing for foods, venom testing and desensitization, drug allergy testing and food challenges.

In her spare time, Dr. Rishi enjoys spending time with her husband and her son.  She also enjoys yoga, traveling and book clubs.  She is a big fan of the Phoenix Suns & Arizona Cardinals.

She has a reputation of spending extra time and listening to her patients to make a thorough diagnosis.  Rachael's patient base has largely been developed by referrals from her own patients through positive word of mouth.  She has a special interest in allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma and urticaria.
